Honeycomb with an isotropic cell configuration providing near equal shear properties in all directions. Each cell is tubular and is inherently stable
PP Polypropylene Honeycomb is supplied with or without a non-woven polyester veil for better bonding. It is also supplied with or without a film barrier under the polyester veil to limit the amount of resin consumption.
Applications
PP Polypropylene Honeycomb is an excellent alternative to traditional core materials such as plywood, balsa and foam used in the manufacturing of consumer and industrial products. Marine, Automotive, Truck, Trailer, Architectural, Environmental and Recreational are just a few markets and applications that utilize Polypropylene Honeycomb.
