Description
PFHD aerospace grade fiberglass honeycomb exhibits outstanding flammability properties and extremely high strength characteristics. It is manufactured from phenolic resin impregnated fiberglass fabric and coated with phenolic resin.
Applications
PFHD honeycomb uses include aircraft bulkhead panels, wingtips, engine and nacelle components, hardpoints, and many other applications requiring significant compression, shear, and temperature performance.
Features:
- Bisected Hexegonal
- Fire resistant for use up to 350˚F
- Can handle higher temps for a short period of time
- Significantly stronger shear and compressive properties than Aramid
- Non-hygroscopic
Availability
PFHD honeycomb is ideal for use in all composite aerostructures, when high mechanical performance is required.
