Plascore revolutionized the cleanroom industry with the introduction of its nonprogressive Semiconductor cleanroom wall system in the late 1980’s. Through continuous innovation, Plascore again transformed the industry with the introduction of a family of wall systems that are interchangeable with each other to maximize flexibility while minimizing cost. These designs utilize a mounting block and opposing T-groove to create the most flexible wall system on the market. Plascore’s unique mounting block design eliminates the need to cut posts and battens separately, creating clean flush connections.
Plascore’s Semiconductor wall systems are the ideal solution to create highly productive clean manufacturing spaces. Through intelligent engineering and experience Plascore created a system focused on ease of application and flexibility to be used for a wide range of applications from sub-Class 1 to non-classified spaces. Additionally, Plascore offers a wide range of doors, windows, ceiling blanks, and accessories to create a complete system.

- Non-progressive and demountable
- Components can be used to create six distinctly different walls to suit the specific cleanroom installation requirements.
- Panels consist of Plascore commercial grade aluminum honeycomb core sandwiched between two aluminum skins. Finishes can be either conductive or non conductive. These panels are exceptionally lightweight and stiff for both easy handling and long-term wear
- Pre-engineered headtracks, floortracks, post, corners, battens, doors, and door frames can be interchanged to create single, double or studless cleanroom wall systems.
- No on-site miter cuts or notching is required to create custom connections.
- The battens are assembled to the stud prior to cutting, allowing both to be simultaneously cut to the same length which ensures precise joints.
- Battens and post have integrated t-grooves which run the entire length to allow connection of equipment, workstations, and similar items without the need to drill into the wall.
- Framed wall systems accommodate .25”, .50” or 1.88” panels without requiring post alterations.
- The unique design of the framing members and mounting blocks allow for horizontal posts to be installed anywhere along the vertical plan of the wall. Windows, air return grilles, tool openings and similar items can be easily installed at anytime with minimum disturbance to adjacent walls.
wall options
Plascore offers six different types of non-progressive, demountable cleanroom walls to suit almost every customers need. These systems are divided into 3 categories; framed, studless, and liner. The framed systems allow for horizontal breaks to be located anywhere along the vertical plane. Studless is Plascore’s simplest option to create separation between spaces. Our liner walls are designed to cover existing walls. Our semiconductor cleanroom walls incorporate interchangeable components to construct multiple variations of wall configurations.
F5075 Framed Single or Double-Sided Wall System
Single 2″ Post (50 mm) and Double 3” Battens (75 mm)
The F5075 Framed wall system is Plascore’s most versatile wall offering. This system allows panels to be removed from either the front or back of the wall and is compatible with both standard .25″ and 1.88″ aluminum honeycomb panels. Additional benefits of the F5075 Framed wall system includes its ability to reach wall height up to 16′ without the need for lateral supports. As well as the F5075 wall can be configurable to achieve higher wall heights as a single assembly.
F2550 Framed Single or Double-Sided Wall System
Single 1″ Post (25 mm) and Single 2” Battens (50 mm)
The F2550 Framed wall system was introduced to the market as an economical option for those customers who were looking for the quality of Plascore but didn’t require a two-sided system. The F2550 single sided framed system allows for use of both .25″ and 1.88″ panels and shares many of the same components as other Plascore systems. Most common application is for walls 12′ high or less, however it is also custom configurable to achieve higher wall heights.
S5050 Strut Single-Sided Wall System
The S5050 is a solution for walls that are less then 10’-0” high. It is ideally suited for use in air return walls, corridor walls, perimeter walls, room dividers or anywhere limited horizontal posts are required. The vertical strut profile accepts many of the same commercially available fasteners that are utilized on other parts of the construction project making it extremely flexible option for hanging utilities.
SL2550 Studless Wall System
The SL2550 studless wall is a fast and easy option for applications up to 16’-0” high. The two-piece batten set in conjunction with the standard 1.88” panels creates a clean uniform wall that is smooth on both sides. This makes it an ideal choice for perimeter walls, room dividers, gown rooms and any other space which does not require horizontals.
L2550 Offset Liner Wall System
The L2550 offset system is ideal for installation over existing walls with imperfect surfaces. Utilizing 0.25″ panels and extrusions to accommodate a multitude of wall conditions, the Offset system sits 0.25″ off the surface of the existing wall to hide inconsistencies.
L2550 Shallow Liner Wall System
The L2550 Shallow is applied directly to the surface of the existing wall utilizing only two battens and 0.25″ panels. This simple and efficient system can be installed with minimal components
ceiling panels
Plascore cleanroom ceiling panels are ideally suited for use as blank panels where lights and filters are not required in the ceiling system. Utilizing the same quality construction as the Plascore cleanroom walls, Plascore ceiling panels can either be walkable* or non-walkable. Walkable* ceiling panels are built custom to the customers specific written specification for point load, deflection, thickness, and surface requirement. Non-walkable ceiling panels utilize the standard panel configuration in the thickness and surface requirement required to fit your grid. Both walkable* and non-walkable panels can be built to allow for penetrations to accommodate sprinkler drops, ion emitters and similar devices often utilized in a cleanoom ceiling application.
*All walkable panels are built to the customer’s specific written requirement. Plascore makes no claim to any of its panels being walkable, but rather that they meet the written specification for which they have been built.
plenum barriers
Plascore cleanroom panels can also be used to create a wide range of plenum barriers. This is accomplished by simply attaching the cleanroom panels directly to the interior structure of the plenum or by using one of the Plascore wall systems. Benefits include no custom fabrication and no “oil can” effect as with traditional sheet metal plenums. This allows for increased productivity since the walls and plenum barriers are constructed of the same materials, reducing the learning curve and duration of installation.
plenum Cap
Plascore walkable modular panel ceiling system allows for a plenum cap with minimal joints yet is flexible enough for penetrations where necessary. Support rods can be transferred from the structure above to the ceiling grid below without the needs for through holes.
doors & windows
Plascore offers a complete line of cleanroom doors and windows designed to integrate into Plascore wall systems, as well as those systems of other manufactures. With a wide range of hardware and glazing options available, Plascore has a cleanroom door or window that will fit your every need.
wide stile doors
Plascore wide stile cleanroom doors are traditional storefront doors integrated into the Plascore wall systems. Choose single, double, or double door with transom. Plascore can provide glazing as required in half glaze, full glaze, or no glaze options. A full line of hardware options are also available to meet any specification requirement.
narrow stile doors
Plascore also offers a narrow stile door for applications where a traditional door does not work.
cleanroom windows
Plascore offers several different window options allowing customers to select the precise window to fit their requirements. By utilizing horizontal posts and glazing clips, windows can be created in the F5075 or F2550 framed systems that are either single or double-sided. Additionally, single-sided windows can be created in the S5050 Strut by simply adding horizontals. Plascore also offers a two-batten studless single-sided window that can be installed in any of our systems while utilizing a 1.88″ panel. This includes the SL2550, F5075, and F2550 framed systems. Windows using this two-batten system can be installed at any time without the need to re-configure or remove previously installed posts.
custom cleanroom access panels/doors
Plascore can design and prefabricate a cleanroom access panel/door to fit your specific application. Options include hinged doors, removable panels constructed from standard cleanroom wall panels and frames, heavy gauge metal panels with matching finishes. Other options include locking, non-locking, interference fit, magnetic latch, and virtually any type of device required. Removable panel/doors allow for access to equipment and similar items for maintenance or inspection.
