Plascore revolutionized the industry in the 1990s with the introduction of the first truly static-dissipative finish. Until then, most manufacturers had attempted to make finishes static-dissipative by adding black flecks of carbon to the paint. The results were unsightly and unpredictable. By utilizing a roll coated finish process with a special formulation, Plascore introduced a panel that was clean and uniform in appearance while remaining static-dissipative in the range of 106 to 109 ohms/sq. This finishing technology is quickly becoming the recognized industry standard.
Currently Plascore offers three standard static-dissipative finishes Shell White, Designer White, and Driftwood Grey. Other static-dissipative colors are available through custom order. Please contact a Plascore representative for minimum quantities and restrictions for custom orders.
In addition to roll coated static-dissipative finishes, Plascore also offers a non static-dissipative roll coated Polar White in a polyester finish, and a complete line of non static-dissipative powder coated finishes in a rainbow of colors options. Plascore incorporates state-of-the-art color analysis to assure accurate color and finish matching. This assures greater harmony across all surfaces for increased aesthetic appearance and visual integrity of all wall systems.
